Students heard morning announcements about Veterans Day and wrote letters to the troops. “Fascinating Facts” about Veterans Day were shared, followed by a sing-along video of “The Armed Forces Medley.” This was followed by morning meetings where students viewed a slideshow of Rosa Lee Carter veterans. There was a special segment on the “Coyote Morning Show” for veterans. John Champe created a slideshow presentation for all its veterans on staff, posted it to the school website and sent it to the community.
At the end of the day, students and staff joined in a patriotic song for all the hybrid and distance-learning students to enjoy together.
